DEBBIE TAYLOR will introduce
Fidos for Freedom, Inc., a non-profit
organization dedicated to improving the quality of
life for the people in the Baltimore/Washington
metropolitan area through the use of specially
trained dogs. FFF trains hearing dogs for people who
are deaf or hard of hearing, service dogs for people
who may have a mobility disability and therapy dogs.
She will explain the differences between these very
special dogs and how they mitigate a disability or
bring happiness to people who are hospitalized.
Fidos for Freedom has several hundred volunteers who
make their mission a success. Several service dogs
and their owners will also be present and will
demonstrate their dogs’ abilities and training.

If a dog is co-owned, and one owner is not a PVSSC member, the dog must have resided with the PVSSC member for a majority of the awards year.
